SMS Communications (Optional)
Memo-ries is operated by MSJ ABA Consulting LLC. Users may choose to receive optional SMS notifications related to medication reminders, missed dose alerts, appointment reminders, and account notifications.
Providing a phone number and consenting to SMS messages is completely optional and is not required to create an account or use the Memo-ries application.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message or by disabling SMS notifications within their account settings. Users may reply HELP for assistance.
Phone numbers collected for SMS notifications are used solely for providing requested notifications and are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Information We Collect
Personal Information:
- E-mail address (for account creation and login)
- Photos and images you upload
- Audio recordings you create
- Text descriptions, captions, and notes you write
- Phone numbers only if you voluntarily opt in to receive SMS notifications
All of this information can be deleted permanently in your settings tab.
Memory Information:
- Dates associated with your memories
- Location information you manually enter
- Names of people in your photos (as you provide them)
- Important dates, tasks, and reminders you create
How We Use the Information
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. All your memories, photos, and personal information are stored in secure cloud servers.
Important Security Features:
- Your account is password-protected
- Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Only you can access your memories (unless you share them)
- We use secure authentication to protect your account
Sharing Information
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
Your memories are private and belong to you. We will never:
- Sell your data to advertisers or data brokers
- Share your photos or memories with other users
- Use your content for training AI models
- Display your memories in public galleries or feeds
The ONLY exception:
When you explicitly choose to share a specific memory via email using the "Share" feature, we will send that memory to the email address you provide. This is done only at your direct request and for that specific memory only.
Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:
- Access: You can view all your data anytime through the app
- Edit: You can modify or update any information you've entered
- Delete: You can delete individual memories, photos, or your entire account
- Export: You can download your photos and data at any time
- Control Sharing: You decide when and with whom to share memories
Cookies & Tracking
We use minimal cookies necessary for the app to function properly (such as keeping you logged in). We do NOT use:
- Advertising cookies
- Analytics trackers to monitor your behavior
- Social media tracking pixels
- Third-party marketing tools
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will notify you of any significant changes by displaying a prominent notice in the app or by sending you an email.
